The holding of Auto Expo is of positive significance for promoting the development of related industries and continuously boosting consumer confidence. Today, we invite Mr. Liu Renyuan, Deputy Secretary-General of Changchun Municipal Government, to introduce the overall situation of the preparations for this Changchun Auto Expo. I. Basic information

The 20th Changchun International Automobile Expo will be held in Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center from July 15th to 24th, 2023. With the approval of the Jilin Provincial Leading Group for Cleaning up and Standardizing the Celebration Seminar Forum, the name of this Auto Expo was changed from China (Changchun) International Automobile Expo to Changchun International Automobile Expo, which was co-sponsored by Changchun Municipal People’s Government, China Automobile Industry Association, china automobile dealers association and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and undertaken by Changchun Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Changchun Bairui International Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., which is a government-led and enterprise-oriented exhibition.

The theme of this year’s Auto Expo is "Travel in a New Era", which reflects the change of people’s travel mode from a single means of transportation to "automobile+new energy", "automobile+life", "automobile+culture" and "automobile+new format". It is estimated that 125 car companies and 151 brands will participate in the exhibition, and more than 1,300 vehicles will be exhibited, including 82 new cars and highlights, and over 100 new energy vehicles, focusing on the latest models of mainstream car companies at home and abroad. The exhibition will be held according to the scale of the international auto show, and the number of A-level booths will reach 83% for the first time.

The main venue of this Auto Expo is located in Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of 220,000 square meters. Indoor exhibition planning: Hall 1 is the theme pavilion of motorcycles and motorcycle culture; Hall 2 is an ultra-luxury brand theme pavilion; Hall 3 is the theme pavilion of BMW brand; Hall 4 is the theme pavilion of Mercedes-Benz brand; Hall 5 is the theme pavilion of luxury car brand; Hall 6 is a joint venture brand theme pavilion; Hall 7 is an independent brand theme pavilion; Hall 8 is a new energy theme pavilion; Hall 9 is the theme pavilion of FAW. Outdoor exhibition area to create a theme exhibition experience area of automobile cultural life. The sub-venue is located in Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone and will hold a cross-border e-commerce fair for auto parts.

In addition to the physical exhibition, this year’s Auto Expo also relies on the handheld platform of Auto Expo on the Cloud and is equipped with the Smart Changchun APP to realize cloud display, cloud live broadcast, cloud release and cloud service.

Unique supporting activities will be held during the Auto Expo. First, a launching ceremony will be held at the Auto Expo site on July 16th. Second, it cooperated with china automobile dealers association to publish "Interpretation of National Passenger Car Consumption Data in the First Half of 2023 and Prospect of Consumption Trend in the Second Half of 2023". The third is to hold a cross-border e-commerce fair for auto parts in Changchun, to display the latest products and technologies of auto parts through exhibitions, to promote the development of auto parts industry in our city, and to help build an international auto parts production and trading distribution center in Northeast Asia. Fourth, the "Summer Car Cultural Life Festival" was held. By setting up a life experience area in the outdoor venue of the convention and exhibition center, the first large-scale immersive summer life festival in China was integrated into the Changchun Automobile Expo project to expand public participation. The fifth is to hold a motorcycle parade, organize more than 100 brand locomotives and FAW Group series models to carry out city-wide parade activities in the main streets and bustling sections of Changchun City, and set off the atmosphere of the Auto Expo. Sixth, carry out a series of automobile cultural activities, bring automobile elements into cultural life scenes, and carry out a series of activities such as trunk market, night light show, and thousands of online celebrity auto fairs, so as to expand the influence of auto fairs and stimulate new vitality of market consumption.

In addition, during the Auto Expo, we will also introduce preferential policies to support citizens to buy cars, and exhibitors will also launch unique promotional activities to maximize the benefits of people buying cars.

From July 15th to 24th, 2023, the exhibition will last for 10 days. July 15th is Media Day; July 16th is Professional Audience Day; July 17th-24th is the Professional and Public Audience Day.

Third, the main features

This year’s Auto Expo presents six new features:

First, the organizer was upgraded from Changchun CCPIT to Changchun Municipal Government. At the same time, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Automobile Industry Branch also joined the host ranks, and the hosting specifications have been upgraded.

Second, it is the first time to set up a new energy automobile pavilion alone, which reflects the new changes in China’s automobile industry leading the world.

The third is the completion of the locomotive museum, which introduces the top international motorcycles and the locomotive content of the State Guest Guard.

Fourth, combined with the theme of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of FAW, we organized diversified activities with FAW Group to realize the linkage among auto show, automobile enterprises and automobile city.

Fifth, the night event of the Auto Expo was held for the first time, opening a new format of "automobile+consumer life".

Sixth, the blessing of the auto parts fair makes the auto fair extend from the pure consumer exhibition to the automobile industry chain exhibition.
